Thursday, 05 March, 2026

Within the framework of the project "Providing Protection Services, Multipurpose Cash Assistance, and Emergency Food Assistance to the Most Vulnerable Individuals in Al-Husha District, Ad Dali' Governorate," funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), the Yemen Women's Union implemented the fifth distribution cycle of unconditional cash assistance for food to 215 beneficiary families, who were carefully selected according to vulnerability criteria. Internally displaced persons constitute the vast majority of beneficiaries, accounting for 88% (189 families), compared to 12% from the host community (26 families). The total number of individuals benefiting from each distribution cycle reached 1,446 individuals, including 71 female-headed households. This reflects the project's commitment to an integrated and effective response to alleviate the suffering of affected families and meet their basic food needs.
