Within the framework of the project against gender-based violence in cooperation
with the United Nations Population Fund "
YWU Lahj Governorate held a meeting on Wednesday 28 March 2018 with the service providers
and the coordinators. The attendance list included the service providers for a project of the directors
of the case, lawyers and the competent doctor, as well as the criminal investigation in the hospital
and the personal court judge in al-Hawtah and Tubn,and delegates from the offices of district directors.
During the meeting, the participants were briefed on the project and presented with a paper showing
the types of violence.
They discussed each type of species, the difficulties encountered in responding to each type, and the
weak implementation of judicial decisions by the security services to ensure the protection of children
and women, as well as the activation of the referral by them to cases of violence and facilitate the
tasks of the project team
