Yemen Women’s Union Distributes Four Rounds of Unconditional Cash Assistance to 215 Vulnerable Families in Al-Hasha, Ad Dhale’e
As part of the activities of the project "Providing Life-Saving Protection Services, Multipurpose Cash Assistance, and Emergency Food Assistance to the Most Vulnerable Groups in Al-Hasha District, Ad Dhale'e Governorate," funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), the Yemen Women's Union has distributed four consecutive rounds of unconditional cash assistance since November 2025 and until February 2026 to 215 beneficiary families, who were carefully selected based on vulnerability criteria.
Internally displaced persons (IDPs) constitute the vast majority of beneficiaries, accounting for 88% (189 families), compared to 12% from the host community (26 families). The total number of individuals benefiting from each distribution riund reached 1,446 individuals, including 71 female-headed households, reflecting the project's commitment to an integrated and effective response to alleviate the suffering of affected families and meet their basic food needs.
