As part of its ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of affected families and meet their basic food needs, YWU executed the fourth cycle of unconditional cash assistance distributions for food during September 2026. This activity falls within the framework of the "Integrated Food Security and Protection Response Project for Affected Populations in Al-Bayda City – Al-Bayda Governorate," funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

This cycle targeted 355 affected households, comprising a total of 2,545 individuals. Beneficiary families were selected according to humanitarian standards and vulnerability criteria related to food security and livelihoods, ensuring an integrated, effective response that reaches those in greatest need.

This initiative reflects YWU’s steadfast commitment to sustaining its humanitarian efforts aimed at bolstering food security, protecting the most vulnerable groups, and mitigating the impacts of the humanitarian crisis in Al-Bayda Governorate.
