As part of its ongoing efforts to ease the suffering of affected families and meet their basic food needs, Yemen Women Union carried out the third round of unconditional cash assistance for food in August 2026.

This activity falls under the project “Integrated Response for Food Security and Protection for Affected Groups in Al-Bayda City, Al-Bayda Governorate”, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

During this round, the project reached 355 affected families, totaling 2,545 individuals. Beneficiary households were selected based on humanitarian criteria and vulnerability indicators related to food security and livelihoods, ensuring a comprehensive and effective response that prioritizes those most in need.
